01 / THE COACHING

A wee gym with room to grow.

Maybe you already run, ride or play a sport and want to build the strength to keep doing it. Maybe you’re just ready for a change of routine. Either way, we’ll help you find a starting point and build from there.

We coach in groups of up to six, so there’s time to learn the movements, ask questions and train at a pace that works for you.

Partick is where we start. Over time I’d love to bring moaifit to other underused spaces, with the same care going into the coaching and each space feeling like it belongs to the folk who train there.

02 / THE STORY

Why I started moaifit.

I started CrossFit in 2020 and I’ve wanted to build a gym of my own since then. I’d always wanted to help people. Coaching gave me a way to do that through something I loved.

I love seeing someone get stronger or do something they’d always assumed was beyond them. Then they get back on their bike, say yes to a big day in the hills, or meet someone in class and start going for coffee together. A bit of confidence in what your body can do goes a long way.

The name moai came from reading about groups in Okinawa whose members support each other over time. I liked how ordinary that support could be. You make a plan to show up together, and after a while you’re looking out for each other without really thinking about it.

That’s what I want to build in Partick. A place where I can coach people properly, see them get better and look forward to sitting down for a coffee with them afterwards.

03 / THE PILLARS

How we train together.

Challenge

Take the step. Do the thing.

Give yourself permission to be a beginner. Have a go at the movement you’ve been avoiding. Ask the question and speak up when something feels off. We’ve got you.

Community

Make room for people.

Say hello. Learn someone’s name. Put your kit away. If you’re going for a run or grabbing a coffee after class, ask if someone fancies coming along.

Longevity

More is just more.

Know what you want from the session and put your effort there. Build it up over time so you can train, run, ride and say yes to the things you enjoy for years.

04 / GET STARTED

Do the thing.

Tell us a wee bit about yourself and when you can train. Fraser will be in touch to talk through what you’re looking for and how to get started.
