Be more Toilet Boy

· Written by Fraser Cameron

Not sure if it is only my algorithm thats been getting this but @thetoiletkiddamian has been sharing his love of appliances – in particular toilets.

I didnt used to give a shit where i shat but all of a sudden i feel i need an American standard in one of these funky colours. I want something thats not craply made. (i’ll stop now)

He’s been gifted high quality toilets and other porcelain items by companies and the internet bloody loves it. I guess you could say he’s THE toilet influencer.

He cracks them open and shows you what it means to be a good toilet, he runs tests on them to ensure his cloth passes.

Seeing how much the internet loves him and his pure authenticity has been a call for myself to lean into it. Be more toilet boy.

In a world where we are being influenced constantly to buy this thing and that thing and give our attention to that thing – it feels that we have kind of lost the art of liking what we like.

We just like what we are told to like.

I even know for myself that I hold back on waxing lyrical about crossfit and movement – because i think people dont want to hear it.

You think they want to hear some muted version of the thing that you like thats palatable enough for them to digest and doesnt leave them thinking ‘he’s crazy’.

Obviously time and a place – but if someone is open to hearing about what your passionate about – let it rip.

I think people are scared to like what they like for fear of being judged.

But the only person judging you is you, through another persons lens.

As seen with toilet boy – people are so onboard with you becoming a nerd about your thing. I bloody love nerds. Tell me about your thing. I want you to have passion about something, anything.

This is all really relevant as the opening of the gym is around the corner – I guess the fear of being judged is real as you start posting more etc i’m opening myself up to having more eyes on me.

I’m working on building new beliefs about who i am and along with some of my other mantras that keep me right i might add ‘be more toilet boy’ to this list.

I think it really encompasses this idea to not hold back on being you.

If im a bit intense for some people – good. They know i really like a thing and that is helping people through my coaching.

Your going to push the right people away and attract the ones who can get on board with your messaging.

I released my book and its available for purchase.

It does touch on these ideas but as I’m developing as a person it maybe doesn’t go deep enough on the power of love.

It is somethig I want to explore and choose in my own life and use it for all the greatness it can offer – like breaking world records and doing it with joy in abudence.

Keep climbing.
